Carabiner CAD modelling and subsequent design analysis using Abaqus FEA.

The FEA was based off material data sheets and previously collected mechanical testing data.

The Carabiners where then produced using an FDM printer, and where subjected to tensile testing to assess the accuracy of the FEA models.
